The LOONGSWORD Han Jian blends tradition, symbolism, and function into a single form. Forged through the Longquan swordsmithing tradition, officially recognized as a Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage, this blade is shaped from high manganese steel and brought to life through manual forging, quenching, and tempering. Its etched patterns along the flat lend the blade both distinction and cultural narrative.
The hilt, guard, and fittings are molded from durable alloy with high-relief Qin-Han dynasty-inspired motifs, including coiled dragons and wave forms. These not only reinforce the sword’s structure but also bring forward the authority and protection they symbolized in ancient times.
The sheath, built around a solid wood core, is wrapped in white-gold PU leather with an elegant marbled finish—designed to complement the blade and provide secure encasement. This sword is 41.73 inches long overall, with a blade of 27.76 inches and a handle of 8.46 inches, weighing 2.09 lbs without the scabbard. It serves well in traditional martial practice, display collections, or as a distinguished cultural gift.
